Recently I received a LYSOL® Healthy Touch® No-Touch Hand Soap System and LYSOL® Dual Action Disinfecting Wipes to review. As a mom of a 2-year old, there is a lot of hand washing and wiping of surfaces going on in my house. Art projects are always messy and eating? Let’s just say sometimes utensils are optional.
The LYSOL® Healthy Touch® No Touch Hand Soap System was the perfect solution for us. My daughter’s biggest problem was getting the soap out of the dispenser. She doesn’t yet have the coordination to push down on the pump without knocking it over & she sure doesn’t want help from her mother. With this system, those issues are eliminated. She immediately learned how to put her hands under the spout, palms up so just the right amount of soap would end up in her hand. No more dirty soap pumps, no more tantrums because she wants to do it herself. This system makes hand washing a more pleasurable experience for both of us. Hand washing is a critical step to ensure we do everything possible to prevent colds and flu as we head back to school. Soon my daughter will be starting a part-time preschool program. She’ll have 21 other students in her class, which means a lot of dirty hands and sharing germs. Establishing good hygiene habits at a young age is important.
The LYSOL® Dual Action Disinfecting Wipes are different from other Lysol wipes as they have one side for regular cleaning and another side that you can use to clean those areas that need a little more scrubbing. At my house we do a lot of finger painting. Inevitably the finger paint will land on the floor. While its easy to wipe off the tile, it takes a little more muscle to get it out of the grout and the “scrubby” side of these wipes definitely does the trick. Because these are Lysol wipes, you can be confident they will kill 99.9% of viruses and bacteria (even the H1N1 Influenza A virus) when used as directed.
Disclosure: I received free product as part of a promotional program with Lysol® and MomSelect. The opinions and statements are 100% mine and yours may differ.
