Not All Gluten Free Foods Are Created Equal

Guest Post from Sarah at SarahCeliac.blogspot.com.

Not all gluten free bread is created equal!  If you are like me and have to follow a gluten-free diet you probably tried a lot of different gluten free products.  Let me assure you that your search will stop once you try Udi’s gluten free products!  Udi’s carries a line of gluten free products including bread, hamburger and hotdog buns, pizza crusts, muffins and cookies.  All Udi’s products are free of artificial ingredients and GMOs which makes them even more fabulous!

My son (20 months) and I have to eat gluten free foods, but my entire family eats and enjoys Udi’s gluten free products. Udi’s bread looks and tastes like “real” bread meaning I can send it to daycare with my son and he can eat a meal that looks just like those of his peers.

The best part about Udi’s is that it is now carried in many local retailers.  I no longer have to order online or drive long distances to get Udi’s products.  My local Kroger now carries a variety of Udi’s products and now 150 Wal-Mart stores across the country do also!  There is bound to be a store close to you where you can try some of Udi’s amazing gluten free products.

Recently my family and I celebrated the 2012 Olympics with an “All-American” themed dinner.  No All-American dinner would be complete without a hotdog!  My family loves a traditional chilidog.  Chilidogs are a great way to use left-over chili.  Hotdog, chili, sharp cheddar cheese, yellow mustard and onions (if you like onions—I can’t get my family to eat them), all on a Udi’s gluten free hotdog bun!  It was a meal that everyone could enjoy.

  1. It’s so true! It’s amazing how much Gluten Free products can vary. Thakns!

  2. I’ve never seen that brand before, but now I hope I can find it the next time we got to the store. We don’t HAVE to eat gluten free, but I prefer to when I can, as it really helps me feel better. I’ve yet to find a gluten free bread that I like before it all seems so different, but the Udi looks like it may just be something I can enjoy!

  3. I’ve heard so much about Udi, I’m now looking forward to trying them out the next time we visit the grocery store!

  4. I wish my grocery store would carry their products.

  5. I love UDI so much! They have the best food!
