Photo A Day Challenge Day 5: Fave Photo
Holy cannoli, I cannot believe that I’ve made it to day five of this challenge! I know what you’re thinking, how hard is it to take a photo a day? Well for someone who used to HATE taking pictures (I’ve grown out of that) this is a huge accomplishment for me. Today’s challenge took longer than I expected. Trying to pick out my fave photo proved to be a challenge because there are so many that I love.
The photo that I ended up choosing was taken by my friend, Emily Anderson who blogs over at Mommy The Zookeeper. This picture was taken just a few months after my daughter turned 2 on the campus of Arkansas State University. I remember the day being quite chilly for me but you would never have known that by the look on my daughter’s face. As her usual self, she was initially shy around Emily (even though she had met her several times at our play dates) but eventually warmed up, giving us some of the sweetest smiles.
I also picked this photo because it represented a time in my life that I was really happy, even though I don’t think I appreciated it at the time. Looking back, living in Arkansas wasn’t such a bad thing. I was able to stay home with my daughter, met some wonderful friends and became more serious about blogging, something I have grown to love. When I look at this photo, I am grounded. It resets my priorities if they are out of line and reminds me of the most important thing in my life: my daughter.
What is your fave photo?

She’s a doll. And I also think it is hard posting every day – I don’t do it, but admire those who do.
She’s adorable in that sweater vest!!!
