I’m baaaack! Back in the midwest that is! After living in the South for 4+ years, my family and I moved to the Chicago area. Perfect middle ground for our families who live in Iowa and Ohio. I loved living in the South but there is something about the midwest that says home. So enough about where I live, what do you want to know about me? Let’s see….I’m a list maker and love checking things of my list. Love it to the point, I’ll make lists of lists. Some say this is an obsession, I say its just keeping track. Running is another one of my passions (I’ve completed 6 marathons) and so is cooking/eating (hence the need to run marathons). I’m probably happiest when I’m in the kitchen cooking or baking food for my family. No wait, I’m also pretty happy when I’m sitting on the summit of a mountain so maybe I should move to a mountain and cook for my family? Ah, I digress….
I’m still in graduate school (woo hoo I’ll graduate in June 2013 with my Masters in Healthcare Administration) and returned to the corporate world in the fall of 2012 as the administrator of a cosmetic and general dermatology practice. Yup, that means I’ll be blogging about ways to keep your skin healthy and youthful looking. And yes, I have had Botox and lived to tell about it.
I have a teenage son who was born the year Clinton was re-elected to his second term or the year I should have graduated from college with my undergrad degree IF I was on the four year program . My daughter came into this world in 2009, just a few months after my 35th birthday which meant I had the always fun diagnosis of elderly primgravida. Let’s face it, no one likes to be called elderly, even if I was “old” when I had my first child!
You’ll find me writing at East9thStreet and these other great sites in the blogosphere. As a content creator and brand promoter, I help brands raise awareness and engage readers. I’ve also partnered with some a group of fantastic bloggers and formed the Noise Girls, a group of dedicated female bloggers who have come together to raise brand awareness and build buzz through themed review and giveaway events.
