I’ve been waiting to see Disney’s Planes since viewing the first preview on my daughter’s Toy Story 3 DVD. As a huge fan of Cars, I knew that Disney would not hold back and would find the best actors and actresses to voice their characters. And guess what? They didn’t disappoint. It was just announced that Dane Cook (my favorite comedian, and yes, I do follow him on Instagram) will be the voice of Dusty, the lead character in Planes.

The all-new story offers an exciting cast of characters and centers on Dusty’s high-flying dream. But Dusty’s not exactly built for racing, so he turns to a seasoned naval aviator who helps Dusty qualify to take on the defending champ of the race circuit. Dusty’s courage is put to the ultimate test as he aims to reach heights he never dreamed possible, giving a spellbound world the inspiration to soar.
