When I found I was going to the Iron Man 3 premiere I knew I was going to take a ton of pictures. What I didn’t know was how I was going to carry around my DSLR camera and all the gear I had. Usually I put my camera in my purse and hope for the best. I knew traveling half-way across the country I needed a better solution. I set out looking for stylish camera bags that looked fabulous but were also functional and would protect my expensive camera equipment.
It seemed like most of the options I found were very industrial looking. I didn’t want a traditional black camera bag but I needed to find something that would protect the camera I had invested my hard earned money in. After being a bit discouraged, my friend suggested I check out JoTotes.
Founded in 2009, JoTotes provides a fashionable, yet functional way for women to safely carry their camera body and lenses AND all the other stuff that you would traditionally find in a purse. The main compartment of the purse is lined with padding to protect your equipment and then they also include removable, padded dividers so you can organize your purse based upon the amount of equipment you are using that day.
Browsing the JoTotes sight, I found several bags that I fell in love with. Did I want Allison, Rose or Gracie? I was really torn. With so many great options, I had to seek out the opinion of a friend. After exchanging emails and oohing and aahing over the bags, I finally settled on Gracie. She had everything I needed.
I chose Gracie because she had 7 pockets! I like for everything to be in it’s place and that means a pocket for my cell phone, chapstick, hand sanitizer and all those other things that are necessary to get through the day. And even though I don’t have a tablet yet, I could even fit an iPad or something similar in Gracie and still have it protected along with my camera body and lenses. Gracie also comes with removable shoulder or cross-body straps which gives me choices on how I want to carry my stylish camera bag.
Order from JoTotes was a breeze. I was so impressed with their customer service. Knowing that I needed my bag by a certain date, they even shipped my bag to my hotel in Los Angeles! That scored even more extra points from me.
Walking around LA I was able to fit everything I needed in my JoTotes camera bag. I received several compliments on the fun color and look of the bag. When my fellow bloggers found out it was a camera bag, they were even more impressed!

Ok seriously, Until I went to the website and looked INSIDE the camera bag, I couldn’t believe it was really a camera bag. It just looked like the coolest purse ever! Now I really really REALLY want one! I love this!
