Ready Set Give to the Boys and Girls Club of America

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Boys & Girls Clubs of America to promote their Ready Set Give supply drive game. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

Back to school is more than just shopping for new clothes and school supplies. It’s also about getting students in the right frame of mind to embrace education and all that it offers. Each year more than 1 million kids fail to graduate high school! This frightening statistic just shows that it’s more important than ever to support organizations that support our youth.

Every mom I know wants the best for their children and sometimes, we need a little help. I know that first hand. As I adapt to becoming a single parent, I’ve learned it’s ok to depend on others. While I’m fortunate enough that I can afford to pay for supplies, I know that every parent doesn’t have that luxury. That’s why I’m supporting the Ready Set Give supply drive game supported by Disney!

All you have to do is answer five fun questions like the one above. For every five correct answers, a donation of supplies will be made to a Boys & Girls Club member. Club youth will receive up to 40,000 school supply kits.

I’ve done my part to help donate school supply kits to the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, won’t you? Disney will donate up to 40,000 kits but we only have until August 31, 2013 to reach our goal. Let’s get playing!
