Perfect Party Foods: Fourth of July Recipes {Desserts}

How is it that the Fourth of July snuck up on me again this year?  I mean, I know it’s the same day every year (unlike Easter which always throws me for a loop) but I really don’t know where the year has gone.  It seems like only yesterday we were planning our Spring Break vacation to the happiest place on earth (and the most expensive).  Since I need to get my menu planning in gear, I thought I’d share with you some fun and festive looking Fourth of July recipes that I found on my go to place for inspiration, Pinterest.

I’ve seen these red, white and blue strawberries on everyone’s Fourth of July recipe board!  All you need is some strawberries, white chocolate and some blue sugar.  Check out the full tutorial at The Sisters Cafe.

These cupcakes are sure to be a hit with the kids and adults (source unknown – if you know where these came from, let me know so I can give proper credit).

My friend Mickey at A Helicopter Mom made these gorgeous cookies!  They almost look too good to eat….almost! :)

Jello Shooters from the Bakers Royale.  Who knew jello could be so much fun?

How many of you have seen these plastic push-up things on GroopDealz and wondered what to do with them?  Well, here’s a fabulous idea from Love From The Oven!

This year I’m definitely trying my hand at the strawberries and if I get really adventurous I may try the jello shooters.  And if both of those fail, well, there’s always blue and red M&Ms.  You can never go wrong with those. :)

What’s always on your Fourth of July menu?
